Founded in Traralgon in 2016, Foundation Civil & Mining has grown into a trusted partner in the Gippsland and Latrobe Valley regions, with a dedicated team of over 60 professionals. We specialise in delivering high-quality civil works, mining projects, earthworks, and project management services.
Who we are
Led by Matt Weddell, our leadership team brings extensive experience in the civil and mining sectors, along with industrial and commercial facilities and grounds maintenance and management. We successfully manage minor and major projects, including complex interface works. With a strong emphasis on safety, technical excellence, and ongoing professional development, Foundation Civil & Mining is committed to building the future of civil and mining earthworks and finding solutions for our diverse clients’ needs.

37 DAY DREDGER 15 OUTAGE, DEC 2022
This was the first time in AGL Loy Yang Mine's story that the embedded mine maintenance contractor delivered the entire scope of outage works from concept to completion.
We completed the project over 10,867 hours worked across six-day working weeks of ten-hour day shifts and ten-hour night shifts.
We delivered on time, under budget and with zero safety incidents.
