A high level of coordination and critical planning was required to complete this project safely in two stages due to the conveyors being operated on 24/7 basis.
AGL required the installation of concrete slab foundations to support large mining conveyor equipment. These slabs were designed to effectively bear the loads, securing the conveyor ends and ensuring proper drainage for ongoing safe and clean operations.
Project delivery works included:
Detailed excavation works.
Installation of 300 meters of 900mm Stormpro drainage system.
Manufacture & installation of over 85 pedestal footings.
In-situ concrete works including drainage pits, strip and pad footings.
Installation of various raft and ground slabs.
