Moondarra Offtake Pipeline Project

The Moondarra Offtake Pipeline Project was designed in preparation for the controlled filling of the Hazelwood Mine with water during the rehabilitation process. This pipeline has capacity to deliver up to 28 GL/Yr.

The project included the installation of 2200 meters of DN 900 steel pipe and 150m of DN 900 HDPE pipe discharge system. 

Project delivery works included:

• Bulk Earthworks to create pipeline easement. 

• Installation of temporary road diversions.  

• Detailed excavation works. 

• In-situ concrete works including strip and pad footings. 

• 6 detailed road crossings. 

• 17 Insitu Sliding Stools. 

• 13 Pipe Guides. 

• 11 Anchor Blocks. 

• 134 Pre Cast V-Notch Stools.
